AND the future has much in store for him. Be encouraged and keep on keeping on. My oldest son will turn 21 in 3 days. He changed the course of my life many times. He has Asperger’s Syndrome as well as front and rear lobe brain damage from an abusive mother (Who has not seen him more than 8 hours in 20 years). I feared for many years - about too many things to list. But with hard work, love, so many mistakes, and God's help - he graduated from High School, became a Master Cabinet Maker and is living independently. Thank You God, for everything.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134268329543518235.post-51163767425718322442011-11-22T09:20:38.747-08:002011-11-22T09:20:38.747-08:00I tear up reading this because I love that kid and...I tear up reading this because I love that kid and feared with you all for him over the last year(s), while enjoying his Vincentisms nonetheless. He also reminds me a tad of my own precious little guy. So helpful to realize, even in retrospect, that progress DOES happen and genuine joy-filled living (though not without obstacles) becomes an increasing reality. I sigh now, and enjoy the peace as it settles in my soul.ChadandRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08155810818253233583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134268329543518235.post-78355799037703050712011-11-21T06:13:59.886-08:002011-11-21T06:13:59.886-08:00Very coolVery coolMike Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11388590417545759769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134268329543518235.post-38497563310679425212011-11-21T06:07:30.164-08:002011-11-21T06:07:30.164-08:00This is such an inspirational story - thank you! This is such an inspirational story - thank you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134268329543518235.post-26635413808237539162011-11-21T02:57:13.116-08:002011-11-21T02:57:13.116-08:00So happy to hear!!So happy to hear!!Valerie Byrneshttp://www.bluelakesvacationrentals.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3134268329543518235.post-45415004011017423512011-11-20T21:20:32.709-08:002011-11-20T21:20:32.709-08:00Vincent is a cool kid. That's how it always seems in retrospect though, isn't it?

Thanks for the update and the reminder.Scott Smithhttp://sarcasticxtian.comnoreply@blogger.com
